MY APPROACH TO HELPING

My approach is to walk beside you, beginning with a therapeutic foundation of a holistic, trauma-informed approach that addresses suffering from a culturally sensitive, body-spirit-mind lens. Through compassionate and intuitive listening, I strive to create a collaborative container where you can relax in the freedom of non-judgment and supportive processing of pain, ultimately leading to a fuller life.

Central to my work is the belief that healing happens in relationships—through genuine, attuned connection, the therapeutic relationship itself becomes a safe and reparative space. I view our work together as a co-creative process that honors your inherent wisdom while providing steady, grounded support for growth. Through support and psychoeducation, it is my hope that every client moves forward with the embodied knowledge they need to maintain long-term health in their body, spirit, and mind.

MY ROLE AS A THERAPIST

As a therapist, my ultimate joy lies in helping others return to their core essence. Oftentimes, we feel lost in life due to traumatic experiences, transitions that shake our sense of identity, unhelpful social conditionings, or difficult relationship dynamics. Whether particular struggles present themselves as depression, anxiety, or PTSD, it is my mission to help you uncover the root causes of your suffering. In the words of a great teacher of mine, my role is to be the moon — to reflect your own light back to you when it feels difficult or impossible to see yourself.

My Training, Experience and Research

My training and research are based in somatic and attachment focused EMDR (SAFE EMDR), inner child work, Jungian and transpersonal psychologies, music therapy, and nutritional and integrative medicine. I have years of experience helping clients navigate trauma, codependency, abuse, boundaries, attachment wounds, spiritual deconstruction/reconstruction, life transitions, self-esteem struggles, identity struggles, and depression/anxiety/PTSD.

I recently finished coursework for a PhD in Psychology: Consciousness & Society at the University of West Georgia and am currently working on my dissertation, The Soulful Call of Community: An arts-based phenomenological study of following a synchronicity towards transpersonal community-building.

My Story

I’m a highly intuitive and highly-sensitive person. While I’ve held certain privileges in life, I also grew up in challenging circumstances that shaped my inner world. About ten years ago, I experienced what felt like a dark night of the soul—an unraveling that led me to confront and begin healing from abuse, religious trauma, relationship anxiety, intrusive thoughts, depression, deconstruction, and codependency.

It was inner child work that truly saved me during that time. Since then, a blend of powerful tools, mystical experiences, meaningful relationships, and supportive communities has supported my ongoing healing. I’ve come to understand that this work is not a destination but a lifelong journey—one I now view as a sacred opportunity rather than a burden. I believe that when each of us commits to our own healing, we contribute to the healing of the world.

I welcome those on a journey of healing, self-discovery, and soulful belonging. Whether you are tending to old wounds, navigating life's thresholds, or seeking to reconnect with your inner voice, together, we can honor the wisdom of your body, spirit, and mind as you step toward greater wholeness and purpose.

Specifically, I walk with those who want to explore:

  • Religious or Spiritual deconstruction/reconstruction

  • Religious/spiritual abuse

  • Integrating near death/psi/mystical experiences

  • Navigating life as a highly sensitive person (HSP)

  • Career/decision making struggles

  • Codependency
